First Grade Math

6+1+4 is 11, it just is.
But in a elementary math world,
you have to "tell how you know."
Probably not what the teacher was looking for,
but how can you argue with that!!

GUILTY!!!

The face,

plus the evidence.
Did you come to the same conclusion as me?

Creative Babysitting

Give her some headphones with a few tunes,
a computer monitor, a telephone that beeps,
and a responsible big brother
and I've got 30 min. to make dinner.
Brent's not "over the moon" about them, but eats them.
Dallin puts one on his plate, just so he's got something to back him up at dessert time.
Britton: "Not me like them."
Cameron is cautiously optimistic, and enjoyed a few.
Elizabeth wants to like them. She's tried them several times, but just can't do it.
Kenley and I think they are divine.

Brussel Sprouts. I eat them like candy.

A Nail Fairy???

Britton trapped his finger in the car door a few weeks ago.
When it fell off my children inquired about a "Nail Fairy."
"You know, like the tooth fairy," they said.
(Monetary gain was their motivation)
I considered it for a moment.
Then I thought to myself, first the nail fairy, then what?
"Nope, no nail fairy guys!!"

A little advice

A plastic GERBER baby food lid taped over the
OFF switch with thick packing tape will
deter a baby from switching the T.V off.
But not for long.

While Big Brother is at School.....

Britton "SHARES" Dallin's legos.
Because everyone knows that the toys you're told
you can't have are much more appealing.
