Apple recipe for Sarah J.


Apple Cake
5 apples, peeled, cored and diced
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. cinnamon
4 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
2 c. white sugar
1 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan. Sift flour, salt, cinnamon, and baking powder. Set aside. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs and sugar for 5 min. on high. Add oil and blend well. Add flour mixture and mix well. Add vanilla. Fold in apples. Pour into 9x13 dish and sprinkle with topping. Bake 350 degrees for 50-60 min or until a toothpick comes out clean.
