Talent, talent, talent!!

Back in October Kenley auditioned for the All-State Youth Honors Choir. She was thrilled to make it and has been practicing the 7 songs ever since. Yesterday we traveled to Spokane for her to meet with 150 other children and a wonderful conductor who has a PhD in music and is the director of choral music education at Texas State University. In the afternoon they gave a spectacular performance for family and friends at the Spokane Convention Center.
Here she is on the drive up "pondering the notes."

At the end of the day two very blurry eyed (up since 4:30 a.m.)

parents enjoyed a Valentine date with their girls.

Oh, and speaking of talented girls in our family, this little one has a few days left to hold this pose. We all agree that holding your foot to your forehead for any length of time is a talent indeed. Ultrasound guessed a current weight of 9lbs. 3oz. Can you believe there's no "room at the Inn" for induction until the 25th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's past my due date. So unless some miracle occurs, and I'm not holding my breath, we're at 10 days and counting.
We're so anxious to meet this little one.
