Granted

The Birthday Boy asked his mom for an

"EYEBALL CAKE."
The Birthday boy asked his parents for a new set of wheels.

He asked his mom to compete against him in an American Idol singing competition.

(Kenley got this Wii game for her birthday, it's pretty cool.

You can compete against other players and Randy, Paula and Simon critique you.)

He asked for a swimming party with family and friends.

9th Birthday wishes granted!

Happy Birthday Dallin.

One of my kids recently asked if you had to be pregnant to have a food craving. I don't think so, but why is it it's the only time I ever have real cravings. So if you're wondering where I go to satisfy my current craving, you'll find me here, on the corner of Court and 4th.

Brent and I went to Resturante El Asadero. Apparently the boxing match of the year was on and lots of gentlemen were staring at the T.V (located directly over our heads) that was blaring away. Didn't matter we couldn't hear each other. I savored every bite of

Tacos Al Pastor with a side of Guacamole

(Pork, onion, cilantro, corn tortilla, lime)

This is beyond craving! So far I've also "had" to have

A1 Steak Sauce

An oreo with a marshmallow on top

Toast drenched with real butter (which replaced my I can't Believe it's not Butter spray.)

Ever had a food craving?

That cake looks awesome! I think I'd like to try out the American Idol game, sounds like fun. That boxing match was one my hubby wanted to watch too but didn't get a chance because I wouldn't let him order it on pay per view. Apparently it was really good which I'm sure you found out by everyone's eyes glued to the tv above you. When I was prego I craved a drink- I wanted something bubbly with lime or lemon.

I was so excited to see "the cake". It is looking right at us.

What a fun time for Dallin. I have seen him whizzing around the neighborhood on his new bike. He is surely proud of that one. He is going to be going on bikes ride now and keeping up really great

The place with the taco's. Oh what a night. You were the girl that night. The woman for all to see.

I have had food cravings before. I think the most was for snowcones and things like that. Have a great day Deb.

I always crave sugar. I'm addicted.

Dallin looks like one happy boy. I think I'll call you the genie.

I crave food. Good food (who wants bad food).

Next time when he rides his bike in our drive way do you want me to go out there and say "What are you doing"? No he is more then welcome here. Well I'm gald he had a great birthday.
Bye bye.♥ ;)

I have always wondered if any of those East Pasco Mexican resturants were any good. I may have to give that a try.

I always crave salsa. I mean always. I love the stuff! Oh and of course chocolate. I really crave chocolate in the winter not so much in the summer.

The bithday boy looked very happy! I love the cake!

That cake is awesome Debie. You are such a fun mom. I love that he wanted to have a competition with you on AI. That sounds like a great Wii Game. Your cravings are cracking me up! I love it.

I only get cravings when I'm pregnant.... or maybe I'm just to weak minded to ignore them when I'm pregnant.

chocolate peanut butter shake was on the mind last week.

When I was pregnant with Elisabeth I CRAVED frozen green beans. I couldn't get enough of them. And when I say that, I really mean it. I would eat on average 2lbs of frozen green beans EVERY day. I kept telling Donald that it wasn't because I was pregant, that they were really delicious. uhh....they don't quite do it for me anymore. I was wrong....it was totally a pregnancy thing.

That is one cool cake...whatever gave him the idea for an eyeball cake? You need to head over to my blog and enter my give away.

Ummmm Cravings--yes! all the time. now they are just in addition to the other food i eat, but in the beginning they were the ONLY thing i could eat without puking. tomato soup for the first 6 weeks (i hate tomato soup)and then it was egg sandwiches for a few weeks. right now, i can eat 3 lbs. of blueberries in one week.
that taco place wouldn't have drawn me in, what made you go in the firt place? just curious....

That eyeball cake is awesome!! I wonder what would make someone want an eyeball cake! Only you could make it cute!
That restaurant looks like food poisoning waiting to happen, but I bet the food was great. I always have cravings for stuff, ironically I only get cravings when I'm NOT pregnant.

Plain donuts. I know boring but so good.

I love that cake. Dallin has great taste. There is nothing better than being able to grant all their birthday wishes. I never really did have cravings when I was pregnant, well I guess I did but they were mostly the same things I always craved.

Happy Birthday Dallin! A great cake and a great bike sounds like a great birthday.

My kids just played on a Wii for the first time and are totally hooked. We'll have to see about one for Christmas.

I craved ICE. I would dream about ice. If I had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, correct that, WHEN I had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, I would go get ice from the kitchen to chew before going to bed. Of course, it was an iron deficiency, and I simply took iron pills to fix the craving. My teeth are now paying the price. :(

That's one awesome birthday cake! My pregnancy cravings were Ding Dongs and Cheese Puffs. Mmmmmm!

I am so jealous of you and your cravings. With Spencer, I craved anything orange flavored...real oranges, yogurt, Tang, but with the other two pregnancies, nothing. I was so bummed. It's the best time to have cravings since you're suppose to be putting on weight! Now that I'm nursing I crave all sorts of stuff. Or maybe it's just that I'm ALWAYS hungry! Too bad I gain more weight during nursing than I do during pregnancy!

The eyeball cake is so aweseome Deb! Happy late Birthday Dallin! Shouldn't he still be that tiny little Sunbeam???? How on earth is he NINE already????????????????

As for your question regarding a food craving, the answer is definitely YES, but there are just too many to count. When I was pregnant with Hannah, I went for a solid week eating nothing but a 6 inch turkey sub from Subway every day for lunch and dinner. Yeah, that would be like 12 times within a WEEK. Crazy how those food cravings hit ya!

That is funny how our due dates are so close. I had a craving last night, I wanted salad. So at 10 pm Joe went to Yoke's and bought me some. I think men have to think pregnant women are crazy. Maybe we will have the same craving sometime and see each other there. :)

Cool cake! I wish I was better at cake decorating. I am going to make Colby a Batman cake this year. We will see how that goes!

So fun, I love it and Im craving it now! :) my cravings during pregnancy are olives & doritoes, cup o'noodle, alvacados (there must be something our body needs in those for the baby?) and more sugar and salt and sugar and salt.

Yes I have cravings all of the time ---for food. Can't leave it alone.
Many moons ago during pregnancies I always wanted things that were salty--especially during the morning sickness day. Things like fried chicken, french fries, pizza ,etc.
Nowadays it is mostly chocolate.
Love your eyeball cake. You did a great job on it and it looks like Dallin got all of his wishes for his birthday. Jera

I had some SERIOUS food cravings at the beginning of this pregnancy. My poor husband and kids!! It's so nice when you can find something that hits the spot!

Ps...that cake is sooo cool!!

That cake rocks!

I'll trade cravings with you, my husband thinks my cravings are expensive. I love pasta (although I can't just eat it whenever I want or I'll balloon). I crave that little Italian place on Lee Blvd in Richland (Amicis - if I spelled that right).

On the cheaper side, I do love my homemade brownies.
