Picture Perfect Weekend

{Haley Wright, Elizabeth and Dallin}

Make your own pizza night turned out to be a fun evening. I cut up veggies and cooked some meat. The kids squished out their own dough and made themselves an individual pizza.

Brent's pizza turned out to be more like a work of art.
Look at all that delicious color.

Kenley created a stuffed crust pizza!
We then went to Baskin Robbins for ice-cream. Brent got Winter White Chocolate, Kenley got cookie dough, Elizabeth and I got Raspberry Cheesecake, Haley Wright got Rainbow Sherbet, Cameron got Oreo, Dallin got Rainbow Sherbet. Why mention this little detail? Because some say it tells a lot about you. I think it's just whatever you're in the mood for.
We then came home and watched two episodes from the first Cosby Show season. (Brent's Christmas Gift) This is a classic and one of the best comedies ever! In fact, I had forgotten how funny it is.

We had a fabulous night together.

Saturday morning I went to an Enrichment Activity where we learned Self-Defense. If you haven't taken any classes, I would recommend it. It was so much fun. Some of the moves you can just do for exercise and it really got the adrenaline pumping. I was so excited to show my family what I learned and came home and had Brent attack me from behind. The kids loved seeing me trying to escape from daddy. Britton was confused at all the commotion and mommy yelling, "NO!!!" that he started crying. The other ladies at the class and I commented we were excited to use our new skills, but that would mean getting mugged or something.

Have any of you ever done the Applebee's curbside to go. I know part of the fun is actually going out and being there, but it's a nice alternative when you don't feel like going out, have sick kids at home or just don't know what to make. This is something we never do, but it was really nice. Someone else's cooking in your own home. I liked it!!!

Want to see my copy cat project I am going to work on this week? Check these awesome things out.

#2 When linking to a post you can click the title of that post to connect directly (the word crafty, then copy and paste that URL into the link box, that way it will show everyone exactly which post you are referring to)

#3 I really enjoy Dallin's face coming in from the side of the picture

Hi, my name is Terilyn Nelson. Just so I don't freak you out about who is reading your blog - I know Jan and a few others that comment on your site. I'm not a stalker! Anyhow, I was reading about your self-defense lesson and thought it would be great fun to do that here in Kennewick (I used to be in Pasco 3rd until Aug 2007). Anyway, can you tell me who I could call to find out info on this? Thanks terilynnelson@hotmail.com
