STUCK IN A BIT OF A RUT, MAYBE?

Recently, while choosing a dress to wear: Hmm? The brown one with the collar or the black one or the other brown I got for Sarah's wedding or my new brown one? Somehow, I have all the same color dresses. I guess I could see this positively. I'm solid and consistent. Well, I've always thougth that I was somewhat flexible and open to new things, but apparently not. So, my next clothing purchase is going to be a bright

COLORFUL SPRING DRESS!

But that's going to mean some new shoes too! Because I only have black and brown.

So Brent called me from work this morning and said,
"Do you want to go to your cousin's wedding?"
You mean the one next month, in ENGLAND? When we received the invitation I never even thought it was a possibility, but with a little investigating and two free airline tickets, it just might happen.
Now if that isn't an occasion for a new dress, What is????

yay! I would be 100% jealous, but that would be awesome! How long would you stay? If you need to drop any children off here along the way, feel free, my life is pretty dull.

Woohoo! New spring dresses are so much fun! I love when you can break out the bright colors again. My shoes are all black and brown too...I've really been wanting some red ones though. That would be awesome to go to England! What a fun trip. Thank goodness for frequent flier miles huh?

Total jealousy right now. Not only about how you keep your shoes so nice, but a new dress and England Wedding. What! Your life is getting all the angles. I wish my husband was international (well you know) I will protect his identity.

I think a new spring dress IS in order, just because. . .who doesn't love the change of seasons? However, I'm with you and a closet of nuetrals, that wash well, church+kids=messy clothes! Have fun shopping.

My wardrobe looks much the same. Black, black, black, black, brown, black.

Spring colors sounds nice...so does England!

England! I think I will try to lose some weight so that I can fit in your carry on.

I have been craving a shopping spree lately, too.

I think all those fabrics look lovely and you always do too. The girls I worked with always gave me a hard time because I either wore black or gray, sometimes navy, so I broke down and bought some colorful tops, to wear with black pants and skirts of course. I still love black, to wear and in my home.

How fun going to England for a wedding!

You have a great trip! Fun to not take the kids!
I have lots of ruts! Dinner, dresses, shoes? I guess you can say they are your favorites!

I understand your problem mom. Most of my closet is the same color also. My goal is also to make you take me shopping for brighter and more cute things.
