What are little boys made of?
Snakes and snails and puppy dog tails.
We snail-sat six garden snails this weekend
Cameron couldn't resist exploring this huge hole in our yard dug in preparation of our "this is really going to get done soon" workshop. My boys LOVE dirt and tractors, and Britton loved wearing daddy's safety glasses while driving his car.
Boys, you'll grow and change. You won't always want to sit in toy cars and climb into holes.
I love watching you enjoy these things.
What are little girls made of?
Sugar and spice and everything nice.
Once into princesses and pink frills, interests now include:
Zac Efron
and
lip gloss.
Girls, I love watching you grow and seeing you change into beautiful young women.
What is this guy made of? Sweat and a tool belt.
Working long and hard this weekend to get our bathroom tiling project underway. We'll be finished this week.
Children grow and change because they are learning about themselves and others.
I love watching the change.
Brent, no need to change! :)

You've got a lot of projects going on Debie. Sounds like you will be busy. Your girls are so cute. Boys and dirt and being messy will never end over here either. Oh well, at least their happy little fellas.
we've spent a lot of time working out in the yard trying to get projects done and dirt seems to be never ending here too.
Thanks for reminding me how fast they grow up. Your girls weren't much older than mine when I first met you. . .
I love watching your family grow and I especially like Brent in his tool belt..
Your kids are so cute. Looks like a fun project in the bathroom- Joe would love to learn how to do that. Looks like it's coming along! Looks awesome!
Why are you re-tiling the bathroom? Is it the one downstairs? You might want to consider making the window non-see through while you're at it.
ps. When are you coming to Provo?
Projects galore! You will have to post before/after photos of the bathroom.
I'm not ready for the snails. They still gross me out. I figure I have a few years yet-hopefully.
Ha ha, I loved Sarah's comment about making the window non-see through.... is that the bathroom that used to have wainscoat??
What a cute post as always!!
That is so the truth! Good luck on all your projects! They can be so time- consuming, but the result is always worth it!
oh wow Brent is doing a great job on your bathroom...
My boys are the sameway. More dirty they are, the happier they are....
I love how you use pictures to share what is going on in your family. Your projects look great and I bet you will be glad when they are done.
Yeah, kids grow up WAY too fast! But it is exciting to see them grow and change and learn new things. I can't wait to see the finished bathroom, and Matt wants to come hang out in the woodshop when it's done. You're always so creative with your posts. If it were me, it'd be something boring like "we're retiling the bathroom." :-)
Are the snails for Mrs. Kuffle's fifth grade snail races? I loved running into you at Walmart at 10:30 Saturday night!
your children are individually adorable and sweet...seeing photos helps me feel connected :)
the bathroom looks great! so many projects, so little time...
Oh how we love to watch our kids grow and become these wonderful little people. What a amazing and fun kids you have.
I have loved watching your kids grow! They are wonderful!
What a great post! It's funny cause both of my married kids have all girls and they are sure that, that is all they would ever want. I loved my two girls but my three boys have been every bit as incredible and I am so grateful to have had both.
Cameron is not supost to be in a hole ok?
What bathroom is brent tiling? hav you added on. i don't recognize that part of the house?
I too love watching my childrens interests change as they grow. But it makes me a little sad too. Can I just freeze time for a bit??? I desperately don't want this time in my life to be over.
