Grand CanyonI've toured Paris. There were some amazing sights to see.
I've seen the Space Shuttle being launched in Florida.
I love the view of Mt. Timpanogos covered with snow.
I've seen some beautiful things and some amazing places, but today I saw JOY!My friend and her husband adopted a little girl and today they were sealed here:

When little Lily came into the sealing room in her white dress, I knew that I had witnessed the most beautiful sight on earth.
Congratulations Mitchell family.
It was an honor to see the start of your eternity.

Ahhh, we miss seeing Timp every day. It really is a beautiful mountain. But you're right, nothing is as beautiful as a family sealed in the temple. How neat to be a part of that.
That is so cool and I love how you compared it to the other beautiful sites you've seen.
I love going to the temple and seeing a family get sealed. What a special experience. I love all the photos too!
I love the Temple.. I feel so blessed that we can see it from our HOME! :)
Have a Great Sunday....
That is really beautiful Debie. I just love how you compared it to life experiences and there really is nothing to compare to what you witnessed yesterday. It was a beautiful spirit in church today because of that family.
What a beautiful and thought provoking post. Don and I attended a sealing of an adopted child for a family from our old Ward whom we had known for years and it was indeed a special experience. There was a couple from our current Ward that were just sealed there yesterday. We weren't there but several people from our ward were and it sounds like it was a very special time too.
Okay, I was already sad that I missed their sealing - now I'm even more depressed. Sounds like it was a beautiful experience (like they always are). I would have loved to have been there. And I love how you compared it to all those amazing places you've been/witnessed! You're so poetic!
Thanks for sharing this Debie. It reminds me of the day that Nathan, Tara and I got sealed to my parents. I have an awful memory, but I can still remember the song that was playing in the temple that day. I remember playing in the nursery while waiting for my parents to receive their endowments. It was such a beautiful day. I found a picture of us that day in my photo box the other day. Looking at it made me so grateful that my dad joined the church and then led us to the temple. I can't even imagine where I would be if that hadn't happened.
Wow, you've been to some amazing places. I'll have to agree that the last is the best.
